BTEA rejected due to College Transfer?

Hi my BTEA has been rejected due to me transferring colleges. Due to different circumstances I have to transfer or I cant go back to college at all, the case officer told me that they will not allow me to receive BTEA if I transfer.

My questions for anyone ITK on here is:

    1. Is she making this up, because I cannot find any such information on rules/regulations about BTEA not being allowed for transfers?? All the information about who is eligible is online and none of it mentions this

    2. Is there anything I can do, an appeal or a review?? Can the Officer just decide and thats it theres nothing I can do?

    3. What should I do now because its getting close to the start of term I have no accommodation and cant even look unless I get BTEA because I simply cannot afford to return without this money.

    4. What does this mean for any chances of returning to College in the future?? Can I never receive BTEA allowance again??

Any help would be really appreciated.

Did you ring btea in Carrick on Shannon?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Not yet, but I'm thinking about doing that tomorrow, do they handle claims or is it just the local office? Wasnt sure about going over the local SW office but I suppose I will have to at this point. I forgot to mention I am repeating the year but have been told that is not the reason it was rejected
