    Anyone know where should i can get car insurance for the first time, car has been off the road since April. AXA have told me they cant cover cause theres a 3 month gap so have its4women

    Go online or call them.

    Nobody here can tell whether they will insure you.

    Your post doesn't really make sense as in car off road 3 months and 1st insurance does this mean you have been driving without?

    Try 123.ie, Liberty, try brokers also they may find 1 for you if your having a problem.

    FBD won't give a quote if the car has no NCT (as most probably won't).

    Was refused a phone quote a few months back. Was told to get it NCT'd and then ring back. :mad:

    FBD Quoted me for a car with no NCT, but they would only give third party, not even fire and theft.

    Obviously not in their interest to be insuring valueless cars with no NCT for fire and theft.
