Replacing tag

Hi , a bullock's tag came out of its ear when dosing
What do i need to do to get a replacement? , contact dept ?

No . Order replacement tag from euro tags. Can be done online

No need to contact Dept of Ag. As far as I know Mullinahone Co-Op now have an online system for ordering new and replacement tags. Before you had to print off order forms off the website. Usually when boxes of new tags are sent out, they have order forms for replacement tags included. Anyone near you who's calving cows might have one or two to spare if you ask them. I think they include an order form with the repl. tags when they're posted out.

Can they be put back in or is there a way of knowing if they can

Eurotags are replacing tags that fallout free of charge, check if your tag qualifies before ordering replacements. They have had to do this due to the large % fallouts recently.
