    Hello,

Just checked my varroa tray and there were a lot of little red spiders on it- does anyone know anything much about these - are they coming from the bees or the hive?

    Thanks, Martin

    Hello Martin
I doubt very much if they are varroa as far as I know Varroa have no red on them.
But a more experienced person might shed more light on your question.

I reckon they're probably just red spider mite... You find them everywhere if you look closely... on walls etc.

They just forage on the debris on the varroa tray. Nothing to worry about.

They'll be Braula mites. Not harmful.
