    Hi,
So I just started my first job as a pizza delivery driver in a small town. The thing is I get paid cash in hand. Do i need to declare this income to revenue? How do I declare it and if I do would it mean that the employer will have to pay the taxes as well?
Another thing is I haven't got commercial insurance on my car. If I were to tell my insurance company, will there be a substantial rise in the premium?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Use a form 11 to declare your income
Cannot help with the insurance but if you use any online quote calc it should give you an indication

Thanks for your reply. I don't know if the employer pays the prsi for employing me. If I fill out this form will he be in trouble? Also will i be emergency taxed? Forgive for my ignorance about this subject.

Talk to your employer , but it sounds like he /she is treating you as self employed , so taxes prsi and USC are up to you to sort out . Emergency tax only applies if you are an employee.
Best to talk to your employer ...

Or maybe just don't bother doing anything. It's just a bit of pocket money. By the time you pay income tax, USC, PRSI and petrol expenses it won't be worth your while working. Best of luck with it.

Either a very significant rise or a cancellation of the policy. Most insurers won't cover that type of business

Regarding insurance, I've looked, nobody will cover it. The only option is if the store has a store policy (for example Dominos)
