Dormer Gable Window Curtains

Hi, I was wondering if you have any suggestion for a curtain solution that is relatively inexpensive for an all glass (with door) wall in a dormer bedroom. Attached is a photo of the type of window.

This is not the exact photo, but similar, there is a straight bit of the ceiling at the window, so essentially there are 5 parts, the 2 small vertical parts, a little over 3 foot, the 2 sloping pats of the ceiling, and the straight bit across the top of the door, about 4 foot.

One or 2 people have been out to look at it (from a curtain / blind perspective), but none seem to want to take it on, or have any good solution. One had something for about €5k but didn’t even want to know what that was at that price. Its curtains we want, not blinds.

One idea I am thinking of is taking normal wooden curtain poles, and placing one on each of the 5 sections described. Cutting them to whatever length, and angles, so the sloped ones meet the others, and screw/glue together, as well as screwing into the walls, ceiling part. Then just hang off curtain off the poles. Middle section coming down over the door would probably be normal length curtain, while the bits either side, would have to be cut to shape.

Am I being too simplistic or has anyone done anything like this before.

Also attached is what something like what I’d like to it look like after, except with straight bit across the top too.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Cheers,
    MartinAnt

It shouldn't be a problem to do this type of window at all. Any curtain shop should be able to come up with a solution. Where abouts in the Country are you MartinAnt??

I would guess a reasonable price for a made and fitted curtain for this "wall" starting at well above €1000. And thats not even factoring in anything for the fact that the customer might not like the job and look for their money back. If you are looking for less expensive, get out the needle and thread or a few concrete blocks.
