medical card applications missing

My medical card application which I made through the post (not registered) in July last has not reached the address:

    Client registration services
    PO Box 11745
    Finglas
    Dublin 11

Client registration told me last week they have not received any application and to apply again but suggested I use registered post this time.

The lady in the local post office said she has heard this more than once with regard to this address.

Has this happened to anyone else or am I just extremely unlucky?

you are not alone by a long mile, best register letter or apply on line https://www.sspcrs.ie/portal/medapp/ or maybe do both, mad I know but whatever it takes.

You didn't send it registered? I wouldn't dream of sending them anything without having proof I posted it.

really doesn't matter if you send them registered or not. a couple of years ago, they lost 2 separate sets of documents after they had been received and acknowledged by them.

could you scan the data they require?

Kinda does, much more likely they won't lose them. Nothing in life however is guaranteed.

I registered mine last year and they lost them, the registered signed sheet said 'finglas PO' or something, it's the post office signed for the letter.
