I have never been out of the country for New Years period before. I will be able to take a few weeks of work around that time so thinking I would like to go somewhere for a few weeks. Would be looking to leave Ireland around 28 December.

Where would I like to go? I think I would like to spend some of my time in Asia so would make sense to be over there are somewhere en route for 31 December. Any suggestions for somewhere different but entertaining for ringing in New Year - where was your best New Years Eve when travelling?
