teen mechanic's course

    i. I am looking for a car mechanical course for my 14 year old son. He is really into cars and has no interest is school and I think he would benefit from doing such a course. We are in North cork but I would not mind driving him somewhere to do it.

    Howdy! There's one in ballyfermot training centre in dublin, but he needs to be of leaving cert age I'm afraid, your best bet would be to ask someone local to give him a bit of work experience or something!

    Contact your local V.E.C and see if they have any courses going but as Pickles said I am sure your son would not be old enough to do the course anyway.
    Anyhows the V.E.C will have loads of info and advice so it might help.
