    Hey guys,

I'm really just looking for some feedback with regards travelling solo.

I've a two/three weeks that I can take for a nice trip....the only problem is that none of my friends are able to take this time off work.

I'm looking at going somewhere in Oct/Nov where the weather is good and there is lots to see and do! However, I've never travelled solo before and don't know if it is a wise idea..but I really need to take a break from work..as cracks are beginning to appear :(

Does anyone have any recommendations? Also..i was looking into going on an escorted tour ..safety in numbers and all that. Any one with any experiences of this?

    Thanks for any replies.

You could go to Mexico or Thailand. I've been to both on my own and they were great.

Kerala in India, Nepal, South East Asia, Bali all good destinations and very safe for female travelers. I wouldn't bother with an escorted tour unless you have loads of cash to burn, waste of money imo.
