    Hey everyone,

I need some advice/information.i recently started a ce scheme, however after the second day,i knew it wasnt going to work, no team work,no communication and more importantly, absolutely nothingto do. I am wondering, do i reapply for jobseekers? I have two interviews next week for jobs. Advice please.

    Thank you..

A CE scheme is effectively a job. If you leave it you may be disqualified for payment etc...

It is effectively a job,but the sponsor has a responsibility too, and if there is no communication or even work to do then in my eyes they are failing as a sponsor.

OP could you not go to your sponsor and tell them what your experiencing, failing that go back to whoever you dealt with in fas? I wouldn't just leave without trying to find a resolution to the problem.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes i rang my supervisor on the scheme, told her the problem, which she tried to dismiss. When i asked if anyone had ever experienced the same issue, she said no never!! However i knew at least two other people who had to leave, when i told her, she denied it. So how to you try to explan to someone who refuses to accept there is a problem as these people are her friends and i guess she doesnt want to admit the problem. Thankfully i have two interviews next week. I am just wondering untill that time, how will my jobseekers be effected.

    Thanks everyone.

I have seen that happening before, supervisor and sponsor are buddies and look after one another, disgrace.

Personally I'd email the supervisor saying what you have already said to him/her and request a reply so that you have a written record, then I'd go above the supervisors head to their boss. I seriously suggest you cover yourself so if you have any problems with the social welfare you have it as back up.
Alternatively bite your tongue, persevere for the next week or so and hopefully something will come out of the interviews.

Speak to your sponsor, ask for a list of tasks and responsibilities. They should be your first port of call.
