The 7:30pm at Gowran Park is 8 runners so 1-2-3 places.

I fancy Call Me PJ. He won nicely last time out and he definitely stays the trip and could be anything really, his first run was also really nice finishing fast behind a Mullins hotpot. I have backed him each way at 10/1 (Boyles). If they go a good gallop then he's bound to be in the shake-up at the end and personally I think that Weld's horse is way too short a price.

you collected on the each way part of your bet anyway - the Weld horse won very easily, had thought he was going to be cracking novice hurdler, but the way he won that, there might a a few staying flat handicaps in him

decent effort by the second, can surely win a country flat maiden

Anyone see the 3:10 in Southwell today? Jim Best had a horse that had been beaten by 227 lengths in his last 3 race win. Tony McCoy switched on to him too prior to the race. Surely the BHA will have to have a look at this one? Opened at 6/1 went off at 11/10.

Edit: Forgot to mention that Jim Best had another runner that McCoy was originally due to ride but was pulled out.

Nothing will be done, the stewards of the day accepted Jim Bests reason for the withdrawl of his other horse, and the ground was given as a reason for the improvement in form of the winner

likes the couple of plots does Jim, always able to get Mccoy somehow
