    I've been watching them myself for the past while.

    Do your homework on them, they are prone to problems that can be very expensive to fix. Have a full inspection done by a porsche expert.

    Myself I wouldn't be gone on the tiptronic.

    Agree with the above. Look 10 years older and 10 years newer, compare prices and you'll see why that model is so inexpensive.

    Early 996 would be a no for me.
