I don't think there would be much around the Grand Canal Dock area but if you venture up to the GPO Arcade off O'Connell Street there's a place called Ultimate Hair & Beauty, they do everything there, hair, make up, nails, mens cuts. Rachel does a great upstyle in there, I have gone to her a few times.
