    Hi guys,

So I have a 316 BMW, but it's starting to give some problems - I can't complain, I got it for very cheap a year and a half ago and this is the first time it's starting to give any problems.

Anyway, it's 1.9 and not the easiest on petrol, but I prefer paying extra for the comfort.

I was looking at Honda Accords as my dad always had these up till the 1997 version and I always really liked them. I'd be looking at 00-04, mainly 1.8 Vtec.

Just wondering is the Vtec engine supposed to be easier on petrol, so would it be easier on petrol than the 316 above.

Or should I stick with what I know and get another 316?

It's going to the mechanic for a look Thursday, so maybe it's not much and could be cheap to fix, but if not I'll be getting rid and I was seeing if the Accord would be a good switch over.

Honda petrol engine is miles better than bmw petrol.

Driven easy better mpg and driven hard its faster than the BMW

draw back it looks like a honda all day long nothing exciting other than the engine.
