Hi there, I am continuing to go through hell after full hip replacement surgery in 2012. After 12 weeks the prosthesis became infected & I am in dreadful trouble ever since. Hi there, I am continuing to go through hell after full hip replacement surgery in 2012. After 12 weeks the prosthesis became infected & I am in dreadful trouble ever since. Is there any one else out there who has had this problem? Even after 6 weeks antibiotic therapy the infection has come back again and I have had to get the hip taken out and a spacer hip replaced twice. with more antibiotic treatment ongoing. Anyone out there with a similar problem?
