    Hi all

I am looking for a new hobby for the winter evenings.

Does anyone know of any clubs in the Drogheda area for
non-sport activities e.g. Films, Cards, Quizzes etc.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

There's a film club in the arts center

    http://www.droichead.com/whats-on/Cinema/Cinema-information

I got a leaflet through the door today about night classes and hobby classes starting soon in St Olivers CC

    www.louthnightclasses.ie

There is a maker space that meet up on a Tuesday night and some Saturdays.

They hold different social events/classes in the lifestyle centre in Ballsgrove, this may only be for retired people in the mornings, I don't know.

I'm new to Drogheda, moved here for work. There's a macra na feirme group in termonfeckin that I'm thinking of joining to meet some people and for things to do so could be worth looking into.

    Any other suggestions?
Also any good trad sessions around Drogheda?

I think sometimes there are trad sessions in Clarkes Pub at the top of Peter St and Carberrys pub

You can check out Culture Connect in Barbican Centre

They have a couple of nice activities: learning foreign languages, pilates, playing music instruments, etc.

What's the update on clubs in Drogheda to join. Fancy meeting a few more people in the area. I'm not very sporty or at least not into soccer or GAA but I know team sports are a good way to get to meet people.

What are your interests? From some Facebook research there's football, soccer, photography, athletics, LGBT, choirs, bands...
