hi there, I am on a FAS ce scheme in childcare. I have done just over the 2 years, then went on maternity leave. with the childcare, you get 3 years on the scheme. so I have around 11 months left on my scheme if I go back to work. can anyone tell me if you have to go back to work on the ce scheme? I have 3 children now, and it just doesn't seem feasible to go back to work with school runs and a new baby. my husband is getting a social welfare payment, so would he be able to claim for me?

You could probably go on your husbands claim as a qualified adult, €124.80 pw.
    €29.80 for each child

QA is means tested, and you wont get any stamps while on it or be able to access any of the job activation schemes.
