90 day esta visa - USA

Hello, I'm currently in mid west USA on a 90 day travel esta visa. I've met a girl out here and want to maximise my stay as long as possible. The date on my passport stamp says October 18th. Is this the day I have to leave the country and or do I have to be gone before that day? Also, If i leave on this day and enter Ireland on the following day due to the time difference what implication will this have?

    Thanks very much

I'd recommend leaving a day or two before your visa expires to be safe, if you did over stay even by a day the next time you tried to travel back to the states you can pretty much be sure of extra questioning by Customs and Border Protection at whatever entry point you decided on..even Dublin. There is also the worst case scenario of them not letting you travel at all and being banned for a few years...

Remember also that leaving the US for Canada and most Carribbean countries does not stop the clock.
