    Goals in this game.
Both have good attacking players and not great defensive players.

    4/5 goals in this match.

    Prediction 3-1 to either team

With Spurs good start to the season and the reds shaky defence I'll settle for a draw right now.

Sitting in a field in Stradbally, just told the wife I'm going in to town to watch the game... Didn't go well.

    Ah well...she'll get over it.

    Tough one to call.

    Should be goals

  • Going on form here, City beat liverpool with ease.
Spurs are in very good shape and could put a few past Liverpool's weak defence.

    3-2 Spurs

Balotellis like a rowntrees random, but should be fun watching him do something mad

Spurs to show their top 4 credentials and show Liverpool's defensive limitations up.
    Spurs 3-0

    Is Mario expected to start?

The consensus seems to suggest no. I have a feeling he might though.

Maybe see him as a sub in the second half I think.

3-1 to the Spurs with Ferdinand and Anderton to score. Wright scores an OG.

Anderton? Bit unrealistic. I'll go with Iversen.

Anderton is out with a hamstring.

Spuds are shoite and massively over rated. Can only see a comfortable Liverpool win with Sturridge scoring 2/3 of a hattrick and Lazer to provide the ammunition by slicing the defence open.

    Apologies that makes sense.

I'm looking forward to this in much the same fashion that I do family occasions. With a sense of dread and impending doom.

Sadly a comfortable spurs win here, Liverpool have not yet integrated the big summer signings into the squad yet.

Spurs may win but it will be far from comfortable. Liverpool are a serious side these days.

Coutinho, Lambert, Markovic and Can. Have we ever had 4 options like that to bring on to change a game?

Very happy with that starting team as well.

Balotelli starts with Sterling and Sturridge. Cannot wait for the match to start.

    Jaysus.

Mario Balotelli has only ever made 1 assist in the Premier League, the pass to Sergio Aguero that won them the title in the 2011/12 season.

Coutinho dropped is a good call if Lallana was coming in.

Sterling I'd imagine will slot in there.

No Skrtel is a big plus as is no Johnson

We'll see about that I guess if they are out for a while. I bet Sakho/Manquillo will get a lot more slack than either of them if mistakes are made.

Hopefully we'll be solid as a rock at the back though. I'd love a 'comfortable' 2-0 win, but I'd probably settle for a draw now I guess.

I'm sure he did, but not relevant for that particular stat as that was only for his time in the PL.

I don't foresee Balotelli and Sturridge/Sterling doing too many give and goes, Mario will be the one who will get the ball for shooting with and little else.

Same was said about Sturridge and Suarez.

I'll go with a tight 1-2 to Liverpool . Looking forward to seeing how the team play together today . It should be an improvment on the City game

Wouldn't worry over that stat. His game matured a good bit at Milan from what I saw.
