    hello

    going to buy a cctv system for the home, what should I look out for?

    I want it to record and have a good picture and can view it on my iphone

    Easiest way is to wire them using cat5.
    Its all about location. If you mount them at ceiling height most will give you an excellent picture even at night. If you want 4 cameras then go for an 8 channel DVR as you will more than likely buy more cameras. Eyespy in ballymount have a nice range so do most suppliers. Be prepared for some networking in order to get the feed to your phone.
