mountain bike for 14 yr old

    looking to get my 14yr old a mountain bike for general use, cycling to school, etc

    he's about 158cm, if i was to buy online what size should i be looking at in terms of frame and wheels?

    budget is about 200eur max, dont mind 2nd hand as long as its in good condition. thanks in advance

    Have a look on adverts.ie or go into halfords or your local bike shop you won't get much online for 200 quid

    Seeing as he's 14 he's likely going to grow some more so I'd look for a small to medium, probably in the range of 15-18" frame. Best off getting a hardtail too.
    Your budget is low but you'd find something on adverts
