Buying New 32" TV

    Hello
After a "water-based" accident with my antique Sony TV I am forced to buy a new idiot box.

I'm looking for a basic 32" model, good quality, hd ready, a scart connection, no fancy extras (e.g. Smart/3D/DVD combi/etc), price €200 to €400 (preferably closer to the lower end).

Any advice would be welcome from yourselves on what's good and what to avoid. I was also wondering if the more obscure (cheaper) brands - Finlux, Techwood, Walker - are any good.

    Thanks in advance
