    Hi,

We had a Mira sport and it's just gone kaput... Now looking for a new shower (electric not tank fed) and wondering since it's been many years since I've looked but what is the most powerful electric shower out there at the moment ?

    Any advice welcomed...

    Cheers

Mira sport now comes in a (I think) 10.8kw 240v it's around 10kw 230v. This is about as powerful as they get.
For you to even consider one of these I strongly recommend that you get a rec to check out your fusebox, trip switch, pull cord & cable. The average shower in Ireland is 8.5kw 230v. Usually you can get away with 6mm cable with this depending on the length of cable run etc.
So if you have an 8.5kw with 6mm cable & you change to 10kw without upgrading the cable, pull cord & probably trip switch there is a chance you could burn the house down.
If you want more power please, please call at professional.
