Right after making quite a lot of progress on fitness and diet and basically changing my lifestyle , I was training five weeks ago and planted my left leg and heard/felt a pop. Turns out I broke the bone that the Cruciate ligament is attached too. Small fragment of bone which is supposedly rare to go. Fast forward to now. I have had the op. They used a plastic screw to reattach the bone which dissolves and promotes bone growth. At the moment I'm in a DJ brace with 60 degree movement and can weight bare of the pain is tolerable... Which it is in the short term but I find the knee starts to swell up after prolonged use.

Has anyone had a similar injury? Any idea if I'll be able to get back running, playing soccer, cycling, squatting, swimming they are a bit reluctant to tell me yes or no on any question in the hospital.
