Do you need to know how to jive for a dance?

I'm just in home from seeing Nathan Carter in concert and he was so brillant.

I would love love love to go and see your man Derek Ryan but I see from his site that he mainly does dance halls and dances. Would I need to know how to jive for something like this? Because I can't dance.

I find the best dancers are the ones who don't give a single fcuk about whether or not they look good. The ones trying too hard just look awkward. Just get up the front and start moshing, you might be the only one doing it but at least you won't be a conformist sheep.

Back in the day, my brother had one "dance" move.

The Smiths, U2, Wham, Bon Jovi, Wolfe Tones....... didn't matter what was playing; they all got the same uncoordinated leap and shuffle. Never bothered him what people thought and he had a ball.

Dance whatever way you can and enjoy the music. No one else will be looking at you and , if they are, so what. It's all fun.
