natural remedy for high blood pressure that works!

    Anybody recommend a natural remedy for high blood pressure that works for them. Don't want to start taking meds if possible. Tks

    Chamomile tea.

    But seriously, it's mainly down to your lifestyle.

    Cut down on salt, tobacco, booze, sugar, caffeine and junk food. Eat a healthy diet. Drink plenty of water.

    Get a good nights sleep. Don't use laptops, tablets, tv and smartphones before going to bed.

    Reduce stress. If you work in an office take regular stretch breaks.

    If you're overweight, get down to a healthy weight as overweight people are more likely to suffer from high blood pressure.

    Exercise regularly. Meditate.

    We have a blood pressure monitor at home and it's surprising how much you can consciously bring down your blood pressure by just lying still and making yourself relax.
    I've measured my own BP, found it to be high and just lay there consciously relaxing until it dropped.
    It might sound a bit hippy and new age but meditation will definitely help
