EI LGW Base Closure

    EI are to close the Gatwick base by the end of March 2015. More than likely all routes will continue, catered for via w-patterns and overnighting crews. LGW staff being offered relocation/redundancy.

    Not surprising really after their scheduled routes from there to the continent flopped.

    Wasn't this announced about 4-5 months ago?
    Thought I read it in the prelim results in Feb/March

    Whoops was it? Must have missed it :P, only heard it around the place today apparently it was confirmed to Gatwick staff.
