Is it LEGAL to tow a small trailer with motorbike/ moped ?

    Just wondering is it ok to tow a very light advertising trailer on a motorbike or moped ?
    I am not too worried about gvw or any of that stuff at the moment.
    I just wNt to know is it legal or illegal in the Republic of Ireland ?
    I have seen trikes doing it and a few goldwings in America but not much here.
