Kitten's daddy, damagegt, has generously offered to open up the naming of the little fluffball to the readers of the Animals and Pets forum, and we're going to support the whole thing by throwing a prize into the bargain

So, how does it work?
This is the Name-The-Kitten Thread, and here iz de roolz.

1. From this moment on, all nominations for new names for the kitten must be made here... any nominations made elsewhere, or in the main thread itself will not be counted.

2. The nominated names will be voted for by our readers via the "Thanks" button.
Please be sparing with your thanks... this is a popularity contest after all!
If you don't like it, don't thank it.
If you like it, don't thank it.
If you LOOOVVVE it, thank it!

3. All readers can nominate 3 names each. No more.
Feel free to tell us why you chose the name!

4. Each reader's nominations must be made in its own post: ONE POST, ONE NOMINATION.
If you make multiple nominations per post, we will delete the post: remember, people are going to be voting for names, they can't vote for 3 in one post!
ONE POST, ONE NOMINATION!

5. If more than one poster comes up with the same name, the first poster who nominated that name will be held to be the nominee for that name.

Remember this kitten has to live with the name for the rest of his life, as does the OP and his family

So, what's in it for the winner?
We're going for a 2-part prize, donated by me, like the eejit I am.
Firstly, the winner of this name-the-kitty competition will have €15 donated to a cat TNR only organisation of their choice.
And secondly, the winner will have a further €15 donated to the Boards.ie Santa Strike Force in their name.

As this is the best success story for sometime I think the little fella should be called Rathuil which is the Irish word for successful. Its also pronounced the same as the Indian name Rahul which means conqueror of all miseries, so thats fairly apt too!
