Anyone heading? Launching their third album, which sounds pretty decent from what I've heard so far.

Tickets €19. I'd post a link to where you can buy them/more info, but I don't have enough posts.

Haven't seen them before, so hoping it'll be good!

Ya I'm going. Should be a great gig.
Not seen them live before but I love their last 2 albums.
Their first one is not available on Google Play Music All Access so I've not heard it yet.

    Tickets can be got here:

Haven't seen them since Castlepalooza two years ago. Incredible live band, really good. Can't you get the first album on Spotify?

Gig announced for the Friday now too.

Does anyone have any idea what time the Thursday gig will be over? I assumed 11 or so, but reading the thread about the Sargent House label gig with ASIWYFA et al there a little while ago says that it went on much later... I've to get last bus at 11:30 so would be a real shame if I have to miss a good bit of the gig :/

From past experience with whelans gigs I would imagine it would finish at about 11.30

The Sargent House label gig went on until late because there were 6 acts that night and they all played for about an hour if not more. The Adebisi Shank gig should have no more than 2 or 3 acts in total and since The Shank have 3 shortish albums, their set shouldn't be too long.

Well, these two gigs are Adebisi Shank's last ever ones in Ireland :O
THIS IS THE END OF A BAND CALLED ADEBISI SHANK

    Dear friends,

We hereby announce the end of a band called Adebisi Shank. From the three of us to all of you, thank you for coming with us on this crazy journey. To Cathy and the Sargent House crew past and present, thank you for believing in us.

Life and music moves on - Lar is making music in All Tvvins, Vin is producing/mixing, working on video games and other cool stuff as VMC Sound, and is also one half of Speed of Snakes. Mick will continue to train for his UFC career.

This Thursday and Friday in Whelans, we will play on an Irish stage for the very last time. Join us if you can. After that, we intend to honour our one existing overseas tour commitment.

To any kids starting bands we offer one piece of advice - play music you love, with people you love, for the people you love.

    We saw a million faces

Vin, Lar + Mick (-_-) xxx
