Helicopter flying around since early this morning, Ballybricken, goes away for a while and comes back, hope there's no one in the river.

A MAJOR RESCUE operation in ongoing in Waterford City after reports of a man entering the River Suir at Rice Bridge.
The operation is centred at The Quay near the main bridge entering the city across from Plunkett Station.
They follow a 999 call from a woman at about 8.45 am this morning who reported seeing a man entering the water.
Waterford City River Rescue was launched at about 08.56 am this morning and proceeded up river where it joined the search with Waterford City Fire Service.
The Rescue 117 Irish Coast Guard helicopter was also involved in sweeping the area but was stood down at about 10am.
In all, there are currently six boats involved in the search, three from Waterford Marine Search and Rescue, two from Waterford City Civil Defence and one more.
Darryl Barry of Waterford Marine Search and Rescue says that the search will continue into the evening depending on visibility and if required will resume again at first light tomorrow morning.

A body has been found in Waterford City. A person was taken from the river by the Marina near the Tower Hotel just before midday, following a search operation involving the Gardai, local River Rescue Groups and the Coastguard Helicoptor. The deceased person has not been officially identified. A major search has been underway since last Wednesday morning, when a person was seen entering the water at Rice Bridge."
