The Tesco Packard Bell Easynote from Last year

Guys....did anyone buy a Packard Bell Easynote on offer in Tescos last year for €300??

I bought one and nephew bought one and mine has the blue screen of death....will not boot or refresh/repair from a Recovery Disk....cannot get into Windows at all in safe mode or any way....tried everything I can with tips online....nothing works.

The only thing I can think of is to create a Widows disk from the nephews and reinstall from that....but I need the licence key so I wondered if anyone can remember if it came with a book or a sheet of paper with the Windows 8 licence key on it??

The licence key on laptops is usually on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop. It might be a good idea to burn a CD with memtest86 to check the RAM. A Linux CD would be good for saving files.
