Ah im sure there are many other alcoholic drinks that could be made from toilet bowls in a sub to please the ladies.

Was chatting to a wren submariner on a flight a few months ago, asked her how she liked it.

'Has its ups and downs' she said. :p

That's how they make West Coast Cooler. You see, it's called West Coast Cooler because they first made it when on maneuvers off the coast of Galway. That's what the rep from Bailey's told me anyhow.

The numbers of female submariners has taken a dive recently, a lot of them got das boot, this anomaly has only recently surfaced though. The Navy has tried to deny it but their figures were torpedoed by experts.

They'd be no use when they have their monthly crimson tide.

It seems October is the worse month for some reason.

work two days a month giving tours on the sub moored in darling harbour in sydney, women can be deployed on subs ......and beer normally isnt allowed but im reliably informed that the aft torpedo tubes can hold 33 cases of beer....each. in fairness, best job i could ever have but the bogs are a sight to behold

Women are better designed, both physically and emotionally, for life as a submariner.

All submarine crews should be female, ideally.

Everyone knows you can't have women on a submarine.

They can't swim, they attract enemy radar, they attract sharks, they insist on being placed at "the captain's table", they get up late, they nudge people whilst they're shooting.

They muck about. Imagine... the fear... of knowing you have a woman on board a boat, when you retire at night you think to yourself "God... will I wake up and find everybody dead?" You can't run a ship like that.

I think you've mixed up "women" and "teenagers" again. Easy mistake in fairness.

I don't think so. I am basing this on the fact that I, as a woman, am claustrophobic, and extrapolating this to all women. Therefore no woman would like submarining.

There really are few things weirder for anyone than being in a small can with oceans of heavy water on top of you. Even the thought gives me the heebie jeebies.

    Some actual facts:

    http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/news-and-latest-activity/news/2014/may/05/140505-female-submariners
No sea too deep for female submariners

    05/05/2014
Three women have made history by becoming the first ever female submariners to serve in the Royal Navy, the Defence Secretary Philip Hammond announced today.
After 110 years of the Silent Service, pioneering Lieutenants Maxine Stiles, Alex Olsson and Penny Thackray have become the first women to serve onboard a Vanguard class submarine.
Obviously this is just the UK Navy, dunno what happens in other navies.

Of course, we all know what can happen if things aren't handled properly:
