EU law to tackle vacuum menace

I was actually put in hospital last week from a really bad asthma attack after using me new vacuum, was the first and worst attack I've had in 20 years so I was caught out with no inhaler. Had a bad reaction from the dust which almost closed my airway entirely and nearly killed me.

I'm not allowed near the vacuum machine anymore :pac:

You need something like the Dyson Animal, it's specially made to trap and filter dust.

And it needs to be in perfect condition with new filters

To quote Tim Vine - I put my vacumn cleaner on eBay. It was just gathering dust at home.

Bit of a non issue, things like this usually encourage innovation. Along the same lines as reducing the size of Formula 1 engines, the engineers will find ways of getting the same results out of less power.

I just let my dog and rabbits in the house. Rabbits climb under my couches. Come out about twice the size from all the fluff. Self generating hoovers.

There are only a small fistfull of brands that make a hoover worth buying. Regardless of the wattage most of them dont suck, also a lot of the former 'good brands' have sold off their name to allow it to be put on crappy imported Chinese no-name hoovers. Electrolux and AEG for example.

We used to have a vacuum that blowed and sucked depending on which end you stuck the pipe in.

Oh no - those pesky Brussels men interfering in our rights to hoover.

It's an outrage Joe. AN OUTRAGE.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

The collective noun for clowns is an alley, or a pratfall, not a bunch.

I knew the Noo-Noo was evil. Something about it always freaked me out as a kid.

    Down with sentient vacuum cleaners.

The Jeremy Clarkson approach to engineering is oft not the best approach to be taking. No need to have hoovers with that much power anyway. Hopefully it'll give the companies the kick up the arse that they need to bring out more efficient designs.

So the ones that don't suck, suck.

    Got it.
