Horizon wifi issues

    For over a year my horizon wifi has been relatively stable.

    However for last couple of weeks, the connection getting dropped quite often. Suddenly the SSID disappears on all the connected devices. In few minutes it comes back again and then everything works until it drops again.

    Called UPC yesterday, she said she has changed some setting on my box remotely but nothing has really changed.

    Anyone else having this issue or any idea? While writing this post the connection dropped once.

    Anyone with a stable connection - can you please share your setting?

    Change the WiFi channel to either 1, 6 or 11 and try again.

    I have already tried 1 and 6.

    The SSID itself disappears.
