BOD's app letting me down here, Ultimate Rugby says 810 but it looks like 840 is correct??

Kick off 8.40. Bit of a bogey for SA this fixture, decent sized win would be a confidence boost.

Should Walsh not have let the try come and then check the pass with the TMO...Wish he had.

    Cracking stuff from the argies.

This is definitely a possible banana skin here for the boks.

Great start from the argies. Walsh looks like he might lose the rag at some stage mind

    Montero is the business.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

Well that was against the run of play

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

Very much a try against the run of play there. Might be a game changer

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,415 ✭✭✭Swiwi.

Ouch, that was almost a 14 point try.

What's the score guys, is it half time???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,415 ✭✭✭Swiwi.

SA are looking pretty ordinary v the ?12th ranked side in the world. Bit more composure required from the Argies, SA need to up the work in the pack.

    16-13 to SA.

Great start for Argies in 2nd half. No idea why they took so long deciding if that was a try tho

    Excellent :^)

Fantastic. I'm really enjoying watching these pumas play - really smart , interesting lines of attack.

    If that is a try...

  • Definitely a try imo.

It's def a try, yep just given now. They are playing some great stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Hope Argentina can finish this. They've played all the rugby and it's about time they got a big win. SA might have been overhyped as a team on the basis of a couple of results against Australia last year.

I'm quite surprised. I think this tactic of going back to the future ie choosing all these veterans from 2007 is a bit odd.

Really top draw rugby from Argentina. SA being non existent though.

This could be very big...as far as I'm aware Argentina haven't ever beaten SA

They really are, shame they don't have a top level goal kicker. Just have a kickable penalty, take the points lads.

Me too but Juan Smith is the only veteran out there. They look like flat track bullies out there. Unable to exert control on the game when not running in tries for fun.

Don't think so. They have draws v NZ and SA and I think they have beaten Aussie at some stage.

    Sanchez take a bow...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

They have been by far the better team all game. Seriously impressive

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Really want to see them get the 4th try now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

When you consider SA's only try was a complete fluke this should be an even wider gap. You'd have to fancy SA though if they got within a score with 10 minutes left.

He's a serious talent. On a different level to many of his backline colleagues though imo.

The 10,12,13 axis for arg has been class

    By a whisker

Hendricks-Le Roux-Habana is an incredible back 3. Up there with the best. Hendricks one of the stories of the year. Shame about the rest of the team today.

Good try there by SA, some reach to get the line. Hope Argentina can get next score now
