    Hey guys,

The highest rate in my area is 650, thats the limit. But i think that means that is the rent limit. So the person wouldnt recieve 650 as im sure you have to pay something towards it?

So my question is, is it possible to receive 650?

If not what would be the highest amount?

    Thanks for any info :)

    No, you won't get €650.

The way it works is you find a place that charges €650; rent allowance will then give you something towards that, with you paying the rest.

The ideal situation is where they give you zero, so don't focus on what the max you can get off them is. Focus instead on trying to improve your situation so you can pay your own rent; keep looking for a job, keep fighting; whatever your scenario is.
But in the meantime, rent allowance will help you, and it is based on your income and very, very fair. As your income goes up, your rent allowance will go down, and hopefully things will improve where you can stand on your own two feet and pay your own rent.

That's how it works. You will be ok. The hardest part is finding the place. A lot of places won't take rent allowance, which is appalling, but that's an argument for another forum.

    Best of luck.
