From 7dayshop, says Grade A Refurbished

Not sure how much of a bargain this is tbh; saw it in an e-mail from them.

Argos were selling them new for 125 Euro- a month ago- there were 2 or 3 threads about it in Bargain Alerts at the time. Obviously they're long gone.

Its not a bad price- but for a refurb tablet, its not exactly a bargain. That said- the Nexus 7 is a remarkable piece of kit.

The Original Nexus 7 is a bit meh, I wouldn't pay 125 euro for one myself and I have one I bought when they came out. It's continually been plagued with awful lag no matter how many times I wipe it, reflash it with stock etc etc. The 2nd Gen is much much better, and worth paying a bit extra for.

I did say I was not sure if it was a bargain... :)

Still: it comes with a 12 month warranty [ I'm pretty sure I read here that original warranty can be challenged in Small Claims court up to 6/7 years for electrical items?]

Did the original come with Android KitKat (4.4) installed?

I read that on these forums too. I'd love to hear more about it because I've never had a laptop last me anywhere near 6 years before I'm shelling out for a new one.

Anyway does anyone know what was the first version of the Nexus 10 and has it been updated since initial sale ? Thinking of picking up a Nexus 10 refurb soon, I saw them for around €240 but not sure if they suffer from the same lag problems that the first Nexus 7 did ?
