Hi Gemma. I haven't used them myself, so I can't comment on their service. Looking at their prices though, they seem a bit expensive for what's offered, especially with a €95 connection fee. To be fair though, wireless broadband is generally more expensive than a fixed line service when comparing like for like; their lack of contract would also be a very good feature.

Is there a particular reason you want to go with Arden Broadband, as opposed to Eircom, Vodafone, etc?

EDIT: Looking on their website, their download usage caps and speeds are much better than quoted in the previous link above; it's likely information from a couple of years ago. A couple of searches on boards.ie, using both its inbuilt search function and google throw up a couple of people who seem to have used them and would recommend the service.

Thank for reply we don't have a land line and most other companies require one. Plus I live in the middle of nowhere. Vodafone won't work here tried it before. And imagine doesn't cover my area. Any of the other salatite ones cost at least 229 to install

Same question Gemma. I am with 3 at the moment and it can be hit and miss and I don't see it improving especially with the NBS contract winding down. Arden look expensive compared to what I was getting but if they can deliver on speed and download limit it would not be a major issue. Just not sure if I have LOS to a transmitter at the moment.

I am in the north longford area near the cavan boarder. I find them great there is usually very little or no buffering on stuff and downloads are fast.

I can see the mast from where i live so wwe dont have much of an issue. they will come out and see if they can connect you of go to the website and you cancentre in on your area and they can tell you if they can connect you.

I was paying 35.00 euro for 3 and it was useless and then it u go over ur limit they charge you the earth.
I only pay a tenner nore and i have a service that is far better.
