  • Dare I ask if they have any Christmas stuff in yet (it's possible y'know!). I keep meaning to get an illuminated Christmas wreath for the last two Crimbos.

If you register on their site, they send out text alerts - you just need to show the text message to get the discount

    Thanks OP..

All that paint I bought over last few weeks for this, that and the other job at home.. none opened:o Could have saved myself 20%..

Better get painting so I won't feel as bad.

Have done that one before.. not on paints though;) Did consider it.

I did open one of them, a varnish, and used it. Was an offer in B&Q soon after and my wife said bring it back to Woodies.. they'll never notice:p

I signed up on the Woodie's site for F&F. It asked for mobile number but not email address. Haven't received any text from them yet, not even one to confirm that I signed up.

OP, did you get the F&F coupon by email? Anyone on here should be aware that it will print with the boards.ie URL in the header, so either turn that header off or clip the coupon. Someone else has posted the coupon as a 4-up in PDF format but they print very small so Woodie's might not want to take them.

EDITED TO ADD: I see the other post was also by OP/Knucklehead6.

Have signed up a few times too and never got anything. Can always rely on Bargain Alert's though;)

Will this include summer garden items that are already reduced? Not big items but something like a swing bench.

I don't think so, normally items that are on a promotion are excluded

Oh well. I'd been looking at a swing bench on Ebay but it would have worked out cheaper with the 20% off at Woodies.

They did before. Someone said they asked before and b&q honoured it.

Tesco take others vouchers as they're a slowly tanking behemoth scared by competition and doing everything they can to try and get people back in.

That doens't apply to every other retailer in the country.

Voucher accepted off the screen of a phone in Lucan anyway, no need for printing.

They should have, unless they were already reduced/special offer?!

No, but it was a valid question by evostik in these times of austerity where retailers will fight harder for your cash.

They have taken it before, you should get on to them and find out why they wouldn't.
