funny sound from pipes

Hi all about 2 weeks ago the pipes in the attic started making this random sound for no reason.When anyone sat on the loo or turned on the cold tap in bathroom this sound (almost like a wind going through the pipes) started lasting a few seconds.now 2 weeks later it happens even in the middle of the night.The tanks in the attic have sufficient water in them.Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks:)

Yeah new ballcock just costs a few euro in local hardware. We had same problem. Just find out which toilet is causing the problem and it's a quick swapout.
