Sorry this is probably in the wring thread i don't where the question should go. Just wondering would i be able to send a small necklace in bubble wrap via a letter in Ireland\/I have set up a o online jewelry store and have looked at the rates on An post and the prices to send things in packets are astronomical so was wondering if the letter was under the weight restriction would it be allowed?

You can send it no problem, but the liabilty then falls on you to prove you posted the item. The buyer would need proof you sent it and a tracking number, especially if paying by paypal, as they can dispute if they dont get it and will get their money back unless you can prove it was delivered to the address they supplied you with.

Bottom line, send it by registered/insured post.

Yep...registered letter where you will also need to declare the value of the item.

If you are going to be sending packages regularly, it'd be worth ringing to see if there are bulk discounts available.

Otherwise try the courier services: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=courier+services+ireland
