    Hi
My mother wants to downsize to an apartment, not in Dublin City Centre.

Does anyone have any ideas about areas which are elderly friendly?

She does not have a huge budget so D4/6 are out, but she doesn't have any Northside/Southside preferences.
Just somewhere thats not dangerous. And with good transport routes as she doesn't drive.

She is still extremely active and loves walking, cultural activities, coffee shops...
    Would really apprciate some advice.
    Thanks.

Dundrum would be great, lots around in the village and the Luas green line to places like Ranelagh and Stephens Green

Thanks, a mill. She does love Dundrum, but again, it's a bit out of her price range.
