Hi haven't been for an NCT in yrs due to car upgrades need advice olz

My front engine tray and wheel liners are missing due to hitting a cat on the m7 what are the rules on the engine tray missing?

Also we think my car is reading mileage wrong I've cruise control and it's not tallying with the speedo reading it seems to be 10miles per hour slower (car English import so in miles)

    Thanks in advance guys

Engine tray doesn't matter a damn for NCT as long as nothing's hanging down loose underneath the car.

On your other query, I'm guessing your dash has a readout of the current cruise control setpoint, and that's not agreeing with the speedometer. If so, it's not unusual. The speedometer is almost certainly programmed to read higher than your actual speed as determined by the sensors on the car: this is to ensure compliance with EU regulations that the speedometer cannot read below the real speed of the vehicle. Setting it to show a little bit above allows for variation due to tyre pressure, etc. The cruise control readout is coming directly from the computer without the adjustment that's applied to the speedometer, hence the difference.
