Is the metro in madrid easy to navigate ? I need to get from T1 in Barajas to Chamartin train station next week and i only have about an hour. Is this do-able ?

The Madrid Metro says 35 minutes for that journey so allowing for the passport queue, buying your ticket and finding the metro platform, it will be tight. The metro is easy to navigate, the lines all have different colours and are numbered so it's a combination of London (colours) and NYC (numbers).

    Underground exit Aeropuerto T1 T2 T3, Línea 8
Transfer at Nuevos Ministerios with Línea 10
    Underground arrival Chamartín
    00:35:00

Can't remember which terminal I flew into but it was a very long walk from there to the Metro station so just factor that in too. The Metro is easy to follow though.
