Today marks exactly 20 years since Martin Cahill aka The General was killed.

Cahill was one of the greatest criminals Ireland has ever produced.

Unlike todays criminals who go around shooting each other and selling drugs Cahill was a true gentleman and man of people.

Cahill never forgot were he came from and was all about serving the community. When ever he did a robbery he would always reinvest the money into his local community. For Cahill it was all about the people.

So lets pay tribute to this great man.

What are your memories of Martin Cahill ?

Putting the explosive under that forensics guy's car was a particularly gentlemanly stunt by him.

A scumbag is a scumbag, no matter how he might pretend otherwise.

I was going to go on a rant about that scumbag gangster but then realised the OP is too preposterous to be serious. Sorry, I ain't biting mate. But suffice to say he was no loss to any element within Irish society.

Paul "The B0llix" Williams to you. All these clods require ludicrous monikers in Mr Williams' world.

    I'm in tears here.

    Such a tragedy.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I'm not a RIP-monger but it's pretty dishonest of people to compare this to a RIP thread concerning someone who didn't make a career out of robbing and assaulting.
