    Very sad. I did not know him personally but many of my colleagues did. From what I've heard he was a top bloke, and a fantastic pilot.

    May his family and friends have the strength and support to get through this painfully tragic time.

    God rest his soul.

    God only seen this now, an ex-AFTA instructor too. Never flew with him up there but met him on a few occasions and always was a pleasure to talk to him. Condolences to his family and all his colleagues in Stobart and AFTA.

    Rest in Peace young man.

    I never flew with him but I know some people who did and they always spoke very highly of him, as did his colleagues at AFTA.

    A terrible loss, RIP Denis.
