    This is excruciatingly bad.

I'm trying to figure out if it is worse than Dexter's last season, surely the finale can't be as bad as Dexter's anyway. It was just awful. So that was Sam's farewell? What? He did nothing this season and that was how they finish with him? The writers royally screwed over two characters that were there from the very start in Sam and Tara.

They wrote out Hoyt for a good reason, so I just don't care that he is back, so it was just to get Jessica a happy ending, nice and convenient he doesn't want kids when obviously she cant have any. And Jason gets the consolation prize of this new random chick that has been in about 3 episodes yet she is getting more airtime than major characters. These two storylines took up at least 60% of this episode and I was messing on my phone for most of it.

Bill's reason for dying, ok I get it, Eric and Pam, grand but it was all slow and laboured and was given less time than Hoyt, Jessica & Jason triangle.

And basically the big bad threat this year is the Yakuza. What?? They are humans with guns, they had all faced worse in previous seasons, The Authority were vampires with guns yet they beat them, they were up against a 3000 year old vampire and overcame him yet this year they are $hitting themselves over the Yakuza. Jesus.

One episode left, sad it has become so so bad, I actually used to really enjoy this show and look forward to it every week.

I'll be happy if the finale is only about Pam and Eric, the Ginger and Eric scene was funny imo

I know Pam's relatively young for a vampire but how the hell did the Yakuza manage to take her hostage 3 bloody times? It always happens off screen too, one minute all is well with Pam, the next we hear "ERIC" and there she is a Yakuza prisoner being used to make Eric do what they want. I've concluded she's really working with the Yakuza and setting Eric up for some unfathomable reason that must surely make more sense than her just continually getting caught and never learning from it.

i guess only after the finale will we be able to judge whether its worse than Dexter's much derided. I agree that the hoyt- Jessica-Jason storyline was utterly pointless but really none of the plotlines have been interesting this year. One last thing: Die already Bill!

I thought the recap at the beginning of the episode didn't bode well since it was pretty much all the relationship crap I don't care about.

As for Eric and Pam and the scene in the basement, how is it vampires can go from standing to having a man's heart in their hands in the blink of an eye, yet Eric wouldn't be able to stop the stake from dropping when the final rope is cut?

And to think this is the second to last ever episode of a show that got a great start.

Anyone else think Bridget looks like your one from Ugly Betty? Amanda I think

She looks VERY like Amanda from Ugly Betty.

Bloody hell that episode was so bad. I have a horrible feeling the final episode is just going to be full of lovely dovey relationship stuff. I thought the final season of Dexter was bad but this is worse.

Pam is the only good thing about this show at the moment but even her character is getting ruined by this whole Yakuuza storyline
