Please help me with this "close one day" notice:

    I work in a restaurant in a village and we have a good relationship with a pub that opposite us. Very sad that the mother of the owner passed away on Saturday night, they close the pub for several days until Wednesday (the day of her funeral), my boss decided to close the restaurant on Wednesday as well to show respect as she knew their family for a long time.
    She asks me to write a notice to put on our Facebook page and at the door, I'm not a native speaker and I've never written or seen these kind of notices and I don't really want to have any mistakes on the notice, so I wondered if someone here can help me write it? It should have the date the restaurant close and the reason in the notice.

    XXXXXX (restaurant name) has been closed today (date) as a mark of respect regarding the death of YYYY ZZZZZZZZZ. May she rest in peace.

    You may want to put a note that "For urgent queries, please contact xxx, however, no need for it unless you're expecting deliveries etc on the day.
